As afoundingmember ofournew ML researchdepartmentyoullbe focusing on bringingyour knowledge ofstate-of-the-artML models tosolving problemsand improving systemsin game development;enriching our player experience and augmenting our teams abilitiesto create high-quality content.Yourinitial focus will beon animationsystemsincludinglip-synctext-to-speech and relatedtechniques but weaim topushthe boundaries of on-devicereal-timeperformanceuses of machine learningin other areas as well giving you the opportunity to have an outsized impact on a widerarea of video game systems.
As a member of the projectyoullhelp take the studio and our game from great to even betterwith a focus on inclusivity mutual respect (for ourselves and our players) thoughtfulness empathy professionalism and collaboration.
Youllhelp us by
Developingand trainingmodelsto solveconcrete game-relatedproblems initially focused on animationlip-sync text-to-speech andmore.
Workingclosely with domain expertsfromElsewhere Activision and Microsofttoadvance state of artquality andreal-timeinferenceperformance.
Helping toidentifytrainingdata needs anddevise data acquisition strategies together with domain experts andasset creators.
Creating best practices for research and productization developingrobust andefficient training pipelinesfor production cases.
Youreawesome because you have
3 years of experience developing ML modelsfor real-time inference scenarios.
APhDorappliedresearch background inindustryaroundmachine learningor relevant areas of technology.
Very strongmath skills with a solid understanding of linear algebrastatisticsprobability andother ML-related math specializations.
Excellent Python development skills withverygoodknowledgeofmodernMLframeworkssuch asPyTorch.
Good understanding ofML inference considerations like on-device deployment etc.
Strong ability to distill complex technical conceptsintoimportant detailsin discussions with inter-disciplinary teams.
Bonus points for
Knowledge of animationsystems(IKetc.) computer graphicsreal-time physics etc.
Working knowledge of C programming.
Experience in the computer games industry.
