Join a compassionate close-knit healthcare team at a critical access hospital nestled in the scenic beauty of northern New Hampshire. Were seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality rapid-response care in the Emergency Department.
About the Role
As an essential member of the ED team youll bring strong clinical judgment quick decision-making and a calm patient-centered approach to a fast-paced environment. Youll care for patients across the lifespan from minor injuries to critical life-threatening conditions ensuring safe effective and compassionate treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process in a fast-paced ED setting.
- Rapidly assess triage and prioritize patients based on acuity.
- Initiate and manage emergency interventions administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Assist with procedures including wound care cardiac monitoring IV access and stabilization of critical patients.
- Maintain thorough accurate documentation of assessments interventions and patient progress.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses treatments and follow-up care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians EMS personnel and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Emergency or critical care experience preferred
