Job Description

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment at a well-established healthcare facility in Syracuse NY. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining patient safety comfort and accuracy in all exams. This role requires strong technical skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic radiographic exams following established protocols and physician orders.
Ensure proper patient positioning to obtain clear and accurate images.
Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection-control guidelines.
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
Communicate effectively with patients nurses and other clinical staff.
Assist with equipment maintenance and promptly report malfunctions.
Provide compassionate patient care during overnight hours.

Compensation:

Weekly Gross: $2814/week

Requirements:

A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Active NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration
Minimum 1 year of X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist experience
Ability to work night shifts with limited weekend coverage
Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures radiation safety and patient positioning
