Shift: Days 12-hour shifts (3x per week)
Hours: 36 hours/week
Pay Rate: $58$68/hr (Approx. $2001$2346 weekly)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit (ICU)for an exciting job in Utica NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive critical care to adults in a 42-bed ICU setting.
Perform and manage CRRT using Prismaflex or NxStage systems.
Care for patients with complex medical needs including stroke sepsis respiratory failure neuro interventions (e.g. TCAR) post-STEMI cardiogenic shock cardiovascular surgery trauma and post-operative complications.
Operate advanced ICU equipment such as IABP ventriculostomy equipment ICP monitors and targeted temperature management systems (TTM/Arctic Sun).
Conduct ongoing assessment monitoring and documentation within EPIC EMR.
Respond promptly to emergencies and utilize strong critical-thinking and assessment skills.
Develop individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams.
Float to related ICU units as required (no Behavioral Health or Emergency unless holding patients).
Follow all safety compliance and infection control policies.
Serve as Charge Nurse when needed based on experience and unit demands.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (ICU SICU CTICU Trauma ICU MS ICU or Neuro ICU).
CRRT experience with Prismaflex required.
Cardiac/heart ICU experience strongly preferred.
Travel nursing experience preferred.
Active NY RN license (verified via NURSYS).
Current AHA ACLS AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications.
Completed ICU specialty skills checklist.
EPIC EMR experience required.
Ability to work 6:30 PM7:00 AM shifts (block scheduling not guaranteed).
Able to float to multiple ICU units as needed.
