As an Associate Director youll play a senior role in our UK tax practice managing client engagements driving compliance and advisory services and mentoring talented professionals. This is a delivery-focused leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves balancing technical expertise with team development.
Duties and responsibilities:
People:
- Manage and support a team of tax professionals ensuring high-quality work and professional growth.
- Provide coaching and feedback to foster a positive inclusive culture.
- Assist the Director with onboarding training and performance initiatives.
Client:
- Lead UK corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a portfolio of clients.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior leadership when needed.
Value:
- Ensure timely accurate delivery of engagements aligned with regulatory standards.
- Contribute to revenue growth through efficient project management and client retention.
- Champion process improvements and leverage tax technology tools.
- Stay current with UK tax legislation and share knowledge internally.
Education and Experience:
- Qualifications:ACA CTA or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience:Strong UK corporate tax background ideally from a mid-tier or Big Four firm.
- Skills:
- Deep technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus Points:Exposure to international tax transfer pricing or tax automation tools.
