Job: Director Primary Care
Classification: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Position Summary
The Director Primary Care organizes the daily clinic operations ensuring provider support and patient experience. Directs and assists licensed and ancillary team members with assigned responsibilities. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and coordinates delivery of plan of care. The Director Primary Care will provide training and oversight in the pursuit of unparalleled safety quality service education and innovation to our patients.
Essential Functions
-Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day activities of assigned employees in all clinical areas that assist patients
-Conducts provider schedule audits daily to ensure maximum utilization adequate documentation is present and issues are addressed with provider
-Accountable for determining clinic staffing needs preparing works schedules and rearranging work schedules to compensate for workload and needs
-Coordinates and ensures all clinic staff receive proper orientation onboarding training remedial training and continuing education
-Assists in settings standards of work quality and volume monitoring work output coaching for excellence personnel hiring completing payroll and implementing changes as needed
-Conducts chart reviews regularly to ensure quality and safety measures are met and identify care gaps
-Subject matter expert for the Accountable Care Organization ensuring all clinical staff are consistent in meeting measures set by the organization
-Ensures quality measures are performed on each attributed patient through clinician training and review of clinical documentation to assess quality of patient care identify areas of risk and opportunities for improved patient health outcomes based on MIPS Quality Reporting OACN value care organizations (VCO) and other required payer managed care quality reporting metrics
-Accountable for medical supplies including ordering establishing maintaining and monitoring stock levels in accordance with clinic budgetary goals
-Provides initial investigation and information for internal and external complaints to management
-Ensures the clinic environment of care standards are always met to include performing monthly rounds
-Serves as part of the Care Team performing duties as needed working alongside those supervised
-Works closely in the development implementation and monitoring of the OACN and Primary Care policies and best practices to achieve quality outcomes
-Adheres to all Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) and The Clinics of Titus (TCOT) policies
-Follows and adheres to TRMC vaccine policy(s) mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

-Commitment to collaboration professionalism and effective communication in all interactions with internal staff leadership teams healthcare providers clinical staff key stakeholders and patients
-Knowledge of medical practice and care of patients and ability to assist with examinations diagnostic and treatment procedures knowledge of medical equipment and instruments
-Skill in developing and maintaining clinical quality assurance to maintain accurate medical records
-Must demonstrate consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail.
-Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as people skills with patients staff and other healthcare professionals.
-Critical thinking skills and a cheerful outlook are essential.
-Must be able to deal with stress while maintaining composure.
Work Experience
-Five years of healthcare experience preferred.
-One year of leadership experience preferred.
Education
-Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
