Job Summary
ICF seeksanIntake Supervisorto work on a national technicalassistanceproject. The goal of the project is to support and enable legal representation to eligible unaccompanied migrant children (UAC) in the care and custody of HHS/ACF Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and post-release in communities across the Intake Leadwilluse his/herexpertisetoensureUACcases areinitiatedin the legal case management system.
The successful candidate hasbroadknowledge ofproject managementandimplementing Intake Leadwill work closely with and under the oversight of theNetworkManagerto execute essentialstrategiesforefficient case initiation and case record management.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly supervise2-3intake specialists
- Oversee all work related tolegal case initiation record creation and document verification.
- Contribute to development and implementation of processes and procedures for legal case intake.
- EnsureallUAC legal case records are createdin a timely manner
- Ensure the projects legal team is notified of case initiation.
- Respond to requests from legal service providers to support collection ofadditionaldocumentation and verification necessary for completion of the legal case records.
- Ensure all UACeligibilityfor legal servicesis properly documented
- Develop and implement relevant policies and proceduresand processes toassurequality workflow and coordination withlegal service providersto promote efficiency.
- Create tools to track document and oversee tasks related tolegal intake case initiation and ongoing documentation and case record support.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorsdegreein social work public administrationbusinessadministrationor related fieldwhichrequiresan understanding of written communication.
- A minimum of3years managing projects taskspersonnelor equivalent of project management such as managing multiple aspects of deliverables deadlines and partner relationships
- A minimum of 3 years demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder and partner relationships including balancing multiple perspectives/needs for capacity building projects.
- A minimum of 3years experiencedevelopingworkflows and protocols
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge oflegal service needs forrefugeesand unaccompanied children
- Experience working for a refugeeor UACprogram
- Experience working with the legal community
- Prior supervisory experience
