Industrial Maintenance Technician duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform basic maintenance work. Replacing parts as directed under direct supervision.
- Replace and repair parts rebuild equipment and align gears shafts pulleys and belts under supervision.
- Utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair modification and maintenance of equipment.
- Help perform inventory control of parts and equipment used from inventory.
- Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Assist in preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan under direct supervision of PM Technician.
- Perform housekeeping duties required of maintenance staff including work area clean-up machine and equipment clean-up sweeping production floor after clean-up and various other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Participate in maintenance training programs to continuously improve knowledge skills and abilities. Work towards developing skills in electrical or mechanical fields.
- Maintain compliance with changing OSHA regulations.
- Learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform primary job duties.
- Operate a Maintenance Truck for picking up parts and materials.
Education and experience:
High school diploma or general education certification preferred.
Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language preferred.
Mechanical or electrical experience. (Helpful)
1 year of related experience.
Basic knowledge of equipment preventive maintenance. (Desired)
Valid Drivers License
Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations.
Computer literate.
