Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) Department Headlocated in Saint-Ouen France.
What will you do
You will join the Alstom Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS) product line as France RAM Department Head to lead and manage RAM discipline & a team of 20 RAM engineers located on Saint-Ouen & Villeurbanne sites.
You will be in charge to identify & develop strategies to maximize RAM performance & positively influence the design choices of our products & technical solutions to integrate resilience into our decision core and that to ensure that our approach & decisions integrate RAM principles into every stage.
For that you will be accountable of RAM discipline over the lifecycle phases and you will ensure that the choices and decisions are implemented to satisfy regulations Customers requirements & needs but also Alstom RAM principles.
In this role you will report directly to the D&IS RAM Director and you will be assigned to the France Engineering Director to whom you will report as dotted line.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Manage RAM discipline on D&IS France region and sites
- Manage D&IS RAM Engineers (20 people)
- Manage RAM workload and workforce balance (skills capacity hiring process etc.)
- Continuously improve RAM discipline in strong link with D&IS RAM Director and RAM Center of Excellence
- Commit to Quality Cost Delivery for Tenders Projects and Programs activities
- Act as RAM France authority and develop/animate the growth of the RAM discipline on D&IS France sites
- Ensure the correct application of Alstom standard RAM Process Methods Tools and guarantee the high level of quality of the RAM activities and deliverables
- Ensure internal and external Customer satisfaction and RAM acceptance.
Internally you will interface with the Projects and Programs Core teams the Engineering disciplines leaders (System Hardware Software Verification & Validation etc.) but also with the Cybersecurity Safety Tenders Sourcing Installation Warranty & Maintenance teams.
You will also be in contact with customers suppliers and subcontractors and with the worldwide D&IS RAM community.

- Strong & successful experience in team management effort estimation ability to delegate activities and manage priorities
- Organized structured and good ability to decide with strong leadership
- Ability to support the team when needed and to support/elaborate plan/solution to deliver
- Specific hands-on experience in RAM/RAMS and Mastering RAM/RAMS methodology and principles would be a strength
- Fully proficient in French & English
