Consult to the ED SNF and general IPU patients with concurrent behavioral health needs
- An average of 2 consults/weekat the SNF (range 1-3)
EmpPATHunit islocatedadjacent tothe ED within the hospital
Patients will be medically cleared before going to theEmPATHunit
EMR EPICand SmartCare
24/7 staffing by caregivers specifically trained to treat psychiatric emergencies and soothing music and artwork to help calm patient
