Avista is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to join its Craft Training team to develop training programs and activities including but not limited to instructor-led modules e-learning videos and simulations.
Designs develops and implements innovative initiatives approaches training curriculum materials and programs to meet learning and development objectives for technical and craft training programs. Analyzes business needs and partners with key stakeholders to develop learning strategies that enhance employee safety and competency. Responsible for designing and maximizing the impact of a variety of learning methods and systems including instructor led virtual and blended learning programs. Provides insight and support to instructors and contractors in the development and execution of training programs. Ensures that learning and development strategies and programs are at the highest level of company and industry best practices and standards. Ensures approaches align with corporate strategies philosophies and expectations including customer and employee experience safety and compliance.

Hybrid work options are available for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work at our Spokane Washington Jack Stewart Training Center at least 3 days per week including Mondays and Tuesdays with additional day(s) determined by the manager.
