Watson Candidate Assistant is here to answer questions about working at Dallas ISD.Manages the ISupplier application module in Oracle.
Oversees the Vendor Management Team and the daily processing function of new vendors changes and other transactions within the I-Supplier database.
Administer approvals changes and transactions within ISupplier as well as manage the daily processing function for vendors.
Manages and oversees vendor relationships for ISupplier and vendor performance when necessary.
Oversees the development and implementation of documentation workflow protocol and reporting issues for all vendor management transactions.
Provides District training and presentations to Office Managers vendors and other interested parties in the area of Vendor Management.
Manages and oversees the policies processes and procedures associated with criminal background checks of approved vendors including processing recordkeeping and advancing for further review.
Adhere to ethical business practices.
Bachelors Degree from an accredited university required.
Minimum 5 years of related professional experience preferably in an institutional/government or school district purchasing environment or other buying experience.
Prior experience in a lead or supervisory position preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles procedures and legal requirements of school district purchasing and contracts.
Awareness of Texas purchasing and bidding laws.
Ability to assist in planning and situational analysis.
Demonstrated ability to perform complex calculations and spreadsheets.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of employees staff members and the general public.
Demonstrated planning and problem solving/investigative skills as required to research inquiries related to job responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and assignments; high degree of flexibility required.
Demonstrated skills in both verbal and written communication.
Demonstrated ability to provide information to staff in a way that maximizes productivity efficiency and cost- effectiveness.
Proficient Computer skills specifically familiarity with Microsoft Windows Microsoft Office and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems or specifically Oracle.
