Dentons US LLP is currently seeking a Legal Recruitment Coordinator for the Chicago office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative team to support the firms US recruiting strategy and gain hands-on experience across a broad range of hiring activities. The coordinator will provide general administrative and logistical assistance to the Legal Recruitment Managers in attorney and student recruitment including the summer associate program. This position is hybrid; 3 days in office 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate interview logistics for virtual and in-person meetings and collect and manage interviewer feedback.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support such as preparing correspondence maintaining candidate files facilitating conflicts and background checks and preparing offer letters.
- Facilitate student recruiting efforts including outreach to law school career services and participation in local recruiting events.
- Organize and execute the summer associate program including coordinating and attending events work assignment and feedback tracking and expense monitoring.
- Draft and distribute internal communications related to recruiting initiatives including interview reminders student recruiting opportunities and event invitations.
- Coordinate pre-boarding activities to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance to onboarding.
- Maintain and update candidate records in our Applicant Tracking Systems (LawCruit and MyDentons).
- Assist with invoice processing and expense tracking.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the Legal Recruiting Department.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum of one year of recruiting human resources or professional development experience in a law firm required legal recruiting experience preferred.
- Proven ability to coordinate recruiting and scheduling across multiple offices time zones and practice groups.
- Strong organizational multitasking and communication skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
- Ability to collaborate within the legal recruiting community and occasionally work outside of the regular work schedule to support department needs.
- Demonstrated discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook; experience with an applicant tracking system is a plus.
Salary
Chicago Only DOE: $62000 - $77000
