Job Summary
LIEBHERR PORTUGAL is looking for a field mechanic for the Earthmoving Division to join the technical team based in Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Repair during corrective interventions.
- Perform periodic maintenance check the tightening of critical components and inspect for cracks and wear from use.
- Diagnose faults and carry out subsequent repairs.
- Prepare lists of parts required for each repair.
- Advise the customer on proper handling and care of their equipment.
- Collect information for the preparation of technical reports or administrative processes.
- Assemble disassemble and analyze parts components and structural groups.
- Carry out service campaigns.
- Support the mechanic coordinator.
- Keep spare parts delivered until the completion of service processes.
- Collaborate in the training and integration of other team members.
Competencies
- Professional school in electromechanics mechatronics or earthmoving machinery.
- Knowledge of mechanics electronics and electricity.
- Use of various repair methods including hand hydraulic mechanical cutting tools and measuring instruments.
- Safe handling of heavy loads and lifting equipment.
- Use of computer-based diagnostic and reporting tools.
- Portuguese as a native language; English skills are a plus.
