We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Credit this client facing role you will support a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) in structuring complex lending solutions for HNW & UHNW clients.

In this role you will:

  • Identify structure negotiate and underwrite new credit opportunities as well as manage existing client lending portfolios which will include developing appropriate recommendations for credit approval ensuring compliance with documented covenants and financial reporting requirements.
  • Review credit limits and monitor collateral while balancing the portfolios risk return.
  • Work on lending solutions such as residential mortgages lending against financial assets (Lombard) and bespoke lending solutions.
  • Proactively build internal and external networks with RMs other internal departments and clients on an ongoing basis to increase quality referrals and new business.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the content and aggregate risks within your assigned portfolio of clients as well as monitoring trends.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • CeMAP Qualified - essential
  • Extensive experience in structuring complex lending products (Lombard) for High Net Worth clients - essential
  • Private Banking or Wealth Management experience - essential
  • Strong analytical portfolio management and risk management skills - essential
  • A proven ability to meet deadlines in line with internal stakeholder and client expectations - essential
  • Working knowledge of lending platforms such as CARM and core banking platforms such as Avaloq or Temenos - desirable
