Job Summary
We are partnering with a leading global financial services firm to recruit a Settlements Clerk for their Warsaw office. This role is integral to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions contributing to the efficiency and reliability of the organizations operations. The team supports settlements for BGC Brokers LP ensuring timely booking and settlement of transactions executed for BGCB Brokers LP & GFI Securities LTD across Euroclear and domestic markets.
The business includes Fixed Income and Equity trading across US and Asia offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for professionals who thrive on precision and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Daily monitoring of trade matching and investigating discrepancies by liaising with internal brokers and external clients to ensure timely matching and settlement of all transactions.
- Escalating aged unmatched and failed items to appropriate channels.
- Supporting settlements across Euroclear and domestic markets for bonds and equities.
- Ensuring compliance with risk and control standards throughout the settlement process.

- MS Outlook and MS Excel
- Front Office & Operations trade capture systems
- Euroclear
- Bloomberg
- In-house mainframe systems: Phase3 SYN STN RIMS
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:
- Strong attention to detail and a risk-and-controls mindset.
- Good academic background; prior work experience in settlements is an advantage.
- Ability to prioritize daily workload and manage high volumes of trades.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Self-motivated and a collaborative team player.
