Job Summary
We are partnering with a leading global financial services firm to recruit a Settlements Clerk for their Warsaw office. This role is integral to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions contributing to the efficiency and reliability of the organizations operations. .
The business includes Fixed Income and Equity trading across US and Asia offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for professionals who thrive on precision and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Daily monitoring of trade matching and investigating discrepancies by liaising with internal brokers and external clients to ensure timely matching and settlement of all transactions.
- Escalating aged unmatched and failed items to appropriate channels.
- Supporting settlements across Euroclear and domestic markets for bonds and equities.
- Ensuring compliance with risk and control standards throughout the settlement process.
Systems Used:
- MS Outlook and MS Excel
- Front Office & Operations trade capture systems
- Euroclear
- Bloomberg
- In-house mainframe systems: Phase3 SYN STN RIMS
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:
- Strong attention to detail and a risk-and-controls mindset.
- Good academic background; prior work experience in settlements is an advantage.
- Ability to prioritize daily workload and manage high volumes of trades.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Self-motivated and a collaborative team player.
