Job Summary

The Opportunity:

Are you a natural communicator who wants to learn the art of high-level business development PEC is looking for a high-energy Growth Associate to join our team.

This is a true hybrid role designed for an ambitious professional who wants to launch a career in growth. You wont just be researching leadsyou will be trained to pitch them. Working closely with our Director of Business Development and Digital Marketing Specialist you will learn how to find opportunities deliver the PEC value proposition and support the marketing campaigns that fuel our success.

What Youll Do

1. Business Development

  • Pitch & Follow-Up: You will actively follow up with inbound leads and prospects. Working together with our Director of Business Development you will be trusted to deliver the initial pitch answer questions and nurture relationships to move them through the sales funnel.
  • Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify prospective partners (government higher ed healthcare) and initiate contact via email phone and LinkedIn.
  • Relationship Building: You arent just setting appointments; you are building rapport. You will represent PEC as a knowledgeable articulate partner to potential clients.

2. Marketing Support
  • Digital Marketing Support: Support our Digital Marketing Specialist by helping schedule social media posts engage with followers and track campaign performance.
  • Content Coordination: Assist in organizing and formatting sales collateral (one-pagers case studies) to ensure our sales team has the right materials to win deals.
  • Event Representation: Travel (approx. 10-20%) to trade shows and conferences. You will be on the front lines staffing the booth networking with attendees and delivering our brand message face-to-face.

Who You Are
  • A Natural Presenter: You are articulate confident and quick on your feet. You can command a room (or a virtual meeting) and arent afraid to pick up the phone.
  • Hungry to Learn: You want to learn how to sell. You are coachable and eager to master the PEC sales process.
  • Detail-Oriented: While you have the energy for sales you also have the discipline to track your leads in our CRM and keep marketing calendars organized.
  • Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint/Excel) and can quickly learn new tools like CRMs or social media platforms.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Communications Marketing or a related field.
