CREST Collaborative seeks an experienced Assistive Technology Specialist to provide services to students ages 5-22 years. This role will include servicing students on campus at CREST and off-site within school districts in the greater Merrimack Valley and North Shore areas. This role allows for a flexible schedule with the opportunity to complete administrative tasks from this role you will conduct evaluations provide consultation and training to ensure equitable access to the curriculum and school environment for students with disabilities. Essential Knowledge/Skills/Experience:Consider assistive technology solutions for individuals experiencing barriers to accessing the general education curriculum and conduct assessments using a student-centered approach to support teams in considering assistive technology solutions during the IEP processCollaborate with IEP teams to recommend AT devices software and services and assist in developing related IEP goals or accommodationsProvide direct and consultative services to students educators and families to facilitate the effective use of assistive technologyTravel to school districts (member and non-member) to provide Assistive Technology services to studentsExperienced with AT tools/devices and adapted software/apps/extensionsMaintain regular communication with all stakeholders regarding student progressWilling and able to obtain Assistive Technology Professional certification through RESNA
