ROLE SUMMARY:
Kings College Murcia is seeking an enthusiastic skilled and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join our vibrant Primary team from late August 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an energetic and creative educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences and supporting pupils to develop independence confidence and a love of learning within a caring British international school environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and deliver engaging differentiated lessons across the full Year 4 curriculum in line with the English National Curriculum.
Create a positive inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports academic progress and personal growth.
Assess record and report on pupil progress providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
Foster strong relationships and positive behaviour promoting respect cooperation and a growth mindset.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan units of work share best practice and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers ensuring they are well informed and involved in their childs development.
Contribute to extracurricular activities school events and wider community engagement.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
Experience teaching within the primary phase ideally with Year 4 or Key Stage 2 classes.
Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and effective pedagogy for KS2 learners.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils.
Strong communication organisation and teamwork skills.
A creative reflective and student-centred approach to teaching and learning.
A commitment to contributing positively to the wider school community.
