Service Technician
About Your Workplace
As a part of our Field Service team the successful candidate will join a group whose focus will be supporting and providing a premium service experience for our consumers working closely with systems and colleagues throughout the organization. You will be responsible for a high level of communication and execution of repairs on site in consumers homes utilizing your skills to ensure a positive experience is provided each time.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide positive consumer interactions at the highest level.
- Complete service work as assigned.
- A remedy is their responsibility with the support of the resources around them as required (RSM Customer Care Technical Management etc)
- Provide feedback to management.
- Based on findings after attending a site to resolve service and installation challenges.
- Based on observations and remedies co-ordinate training requirements and technical communication for the Field to the RSM and Technical Services.
- Domestic service project and showroom related work.
- Support as required from service/installation perspective.
- Interaction with Service Business Support.
- Update Customer Care and/or Office of the President on consumer challenges.
- Have a strong command of all Miele systems.
- MSD Mobile Client Radaro CRM platforms etc
- High Level of efficiency and effectiveness in required processes.
- Inventory and parts use to be efficient and processes followed to ensure a high level of organization.
- Set a positive example on workplace and van maintenance with a strong focus on upkeep for all employees. Appropriate hygiene attire positive approach and attitude to be applied or followed.
- Participate in complete and support other tasks as assigned.
- Follow and adhere to all Miele Ltd. policies and procedures.
- Work safely completing all assigned training following Miele H&S policies as well as municipal laws and requirements.
What we are looking for
- Appliance repair and installation knowledge to be at the highest level in your field.
- Accurate and complete diagnosis using your experience and the tools provided.
- Follow any required process to allow for only the parts required to be used and submit feedback via appropriate channels.
- Exceptional skill in customer service/administrative capacities.
- Organized punctual and confident that they can complete tasks accordingly.
- Strong command of escalation resolution when you are completed and/or there is a clear expectation with the customer on next steps.
- Communicates in a clear positive and professional manner.
- Ability to make decisions that are in the best interest of the brand and the consumer experience.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with peers on facts and guidance when required.
- Computer skills & knowledge (Outlook Apple System iMessage Facetime MS Teams Excel).
Education and Certifications/licenses
- Valid drivers license
- Minimum G3 G2 preferred or equal gas certification by Province of applicationrequirements to be considered and/or
- Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technicians Diploma and/or
- Course in Appliance repair at accredited college/provider
- Bilingual in French and English
