Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) / Space Mission Systems (SMS) has an exciting opportunity for a Spacecraft Assembly Integration & Test Manager to join our Common Products team in El Segundo California.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads performing business management activities in the area of Program Management.
Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan.
Manages develops and motivates employees.
Supports Common Products & Satellite Factory Integration Organization initiatives such as Driving Common Products Architecture Common Products Catalog & Roadmap Improving Profitability and New Business campaigns.


Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science Degree
Experience in a leadership role leading teams or projects to successful completion
Experience working as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) using Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience generating budgets working with program health metrics and critical path analysis
Experience working with Spacecraft Assembly Integration & Test
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Master of Science Degree in a Technical Field
Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Master3 years related work experience 9 years related work experience etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
