Job Summary
Title:
Computer Systems AdministratorKBR is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator to support HQ Space Training and Readiness Command located in Colorado Springs Colorado.
A strong candidate will have background provisioning computer accounts troubleshooting connectivity or configuration issues and interacting with General/Flag officers and their this position you will:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for communications equipment peripherals networks and software.
- Provide technical guidance in use of Microsoft Windows peripheral/shared drive mapping browser compatibility / configuration.
- Configure / maintain government-issued cell phones.
- Troubleshoot error messages provide technical solutions and open trouble tickets.
- Support users at all STARCOM HQ locations.
- Support and resolve issues within PWS-specified timelines.
- Provide systems accounts for NIPRNet and SIPRNET and systems support.
- Set up or modify user access to the classified internet and e-mail accounts.
- Troubleshoot connectivity or configuration issues.
Qualifications:
Required:
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this job which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
- Security Certification.
- 5 years of experience supporting DoD networks and working with Comm Focal Points.
- Knowledge of USAF and US Space Force Information Technology policies and procedures.
- Self Starter with the ability to work independently.
- Accustomed to professionally working with senior leaders.
- Experience with providing technical guidance to users.
- Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work in a secure confined location (i.e. SCIF).
Desired:
- BA/BS Degree
- Headquarters Combatant Command or MAJCOM/Field Command experience.
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40hrs
Work Environment:
- Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
- Working Hours: Standard
Basic Compensation:
$85000 - $95000
This range is for Colorado only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
