This Trainee Project Manager will report to the Major Connections Senior Project Manager and will work within Major Connections based in our Maidstone office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of 54166 and a bonus of 3%. This role can also offer blended working after probationary period (6 months) - 3 days in the office and 2 remote

As a Trainee Project Manager you will manage a number of major connections in the SPN area and to ensure successful pre and post contract management of all projects in order to exceed the customer expectations. To complete commercial project management through full life cycle of the project from initial enquiry through to post investment appraisal following the UK Power Networks Project Governance and Control process.
Principal Accountabilities
Knowledge Skills Qualifications & Experience
A HNC in Electrical Engineering (or similar) is the preferred requirement. However applications from candidates with a lesser qualification and a strong track record in either project management or distribution networks (design or construction) would be welcomed.
Work prioritisation managing multiple projects at the same time
An understanding and use of Microsoft Office packages Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint and Project.
Experience of the Project Governance and Control process and a strong commercial awareness would be advantageous.
