Job Summary
Nelson 3is a 23-bed medical unit with 12 telemetry beds. On the unit you will provide care for a variety of complex adult medical patients with acute gastrointestinal cardiac renal hepatic endocrine sickle cell hematological and respiratory disorders. The team uses a multidisciplinary approach to care utilizing physicians case managers homecare pharmacy PT/OT and social work to provide quality and safe care while supporting the patient and their family.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
One year of clinical experience e.g. home care outpatient acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.
BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.00/hour - Maximum 18.00/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
