A Director of Outpatient Serviceswho excels in this role:
Develops and implements departmental goals plans and standards consistent with the clinical administrative legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations including patient care delivery information technologies service level determination and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Plans and monitors staffing activities including hiring orienting evaluating disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares monitors and evaluates departmental budgets and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Manage the work of others including planning assigning scheduling and reviewing work ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring terminating training and developing reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a Masters degree in social work counseling or related field unencumbered clinical social work or counseling license required by state requirements include:
CPR and de-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire
Ability to create maintain and incorporate simple functions into documents spreadsheets databases and presentations to support business objectives.
Can present resolve and address delicate situations. Can motivate and persuade others.
Provides and sets goals and priorities for functional area. May make recommendations for department policies practices and programs. Makes decisions for and/or resolves problems for others.
Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
