Job Summary
Job Description
A good food manufacturing site is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep production running smoothly. Youll maintain repair and optimise machinery while supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair plant and equipment diagnosing and resolving breakdowns quickly
- Deliver preventative maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with food safety GMP hygiene and H&S standards
- Maintain accurate records and assist senior management as required
- Flexible approach with on-call duties during peak periods
Requirements:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
- Hands-on experience in food manufacturing
- 16th/17th/18th Edition or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving organisation and communication skills
Desirable: NEBOSH/IOSH food hygiene qualification previous experience in a food production engineering role

- Monday to Friday with weekend flexibility
- Benefits: 28 days holiday incl. bank holidays (worked in lieu) contributory pension
