About the role
As an IT/OT Engineer you will translate business and technical requirements into robust future-proof IT/OT solutions within a pharmaceutical environment. You combine knowledge of IT infrastructure and operational technology with a strong focus on compliance efficiency and innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse business and technical requirements
- Design and document IT/OT architectures and system topologies
- Support implementation and coordinate integrations with vendors
- Ensure compliance with GMP GAMP and relevant regulations
- Drive process optimization and automation initiatives
- Engage with stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals
Your profile
- You have 5 years of IT experience including at least 2 years in a pharmaceutical environment
- You have strong knowledge of IT infrastructures and automation systems (SCADA DCS PLC MES Historians)
- You understand system architectures integrations data flows and communication protocols
- You are familiar with GMP/GAMP requirements and pharma compliance standards
- You are an effective communicator able to explain and defend technical solutions to stakeholders
- You are a team player with proven leadership capabilities when needed
- You are fluent in English
- You are based in or willing to relocate to the Kempen region Belgium
