Sheehy Auto Mall of Hagerstown has an immediate opening for a Social Media Content Specialist who will develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances brand visibility engages customers and celebrates employees across all platforms. This role will manage content creation for four dealerships and a collision center ensuring consistent branding and messaging while driving engagement and conversions.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Management: Daily posts for all stores and body shop monthly employee meeting highlights holiday party coverage Subaru Share the Love event employee and customer spotlights timeline videos of vehicle repairs.
- Campaign & Event Coverage: Social media coverage for dealership events and community initiatives.
- Brand & Online Presence: Build and maintain consistent branding across platforms (Facebook Instagram TikTok LinkedIn YouTube).
- Promotions & Offers: Post new car incentives vehicle spotlights service specials and limited-time offers.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments messages and reviews promptly.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track engagement metrics and provide monthly performance reports.
Requirements
- Recent college graduate preferred; Marketing major strongly desired.
- Strong photography videography and editing skills (Photoshop Canva or similar tools).
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling ability.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and trends (Facebook Instagram TikTok LinkedIn YouTube).
- Basic knowledge of paid social advertising and SEO is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A passion for the automotive industry and a strong focus on customer engagement are a bonus.
