Digital Service Manager - Infrastructure Security
Automotive Business
Do you want to manage Security Services closely connected to infrastructure platforms
This is your opportunity to manage the full lifecycle of these services delivering standardized end-to-end solutions that are reliable secure and user-friendly. Your work will directly contribute to the overall Automotive Security ecosystem enabling the business to operate safely.
In this role you will develop within areas such as secure access (remote private internet) external/cloud firewalls and certificates services you will be responsible for. You will collaborate closely with the Automotive IT Security team applying their directives and guidelines in your daily work.
You will also gain experience in managing supplier contracts including service execution and financial control ensuring consistent delivery. Together with the Infrastructure platform service owners Security team and Architects you will continuously improve the standard while optimizing operational stability and cost.
What you can expect in the role
- Operational Excellence: Enhance availability reliability security and performance of the Service ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime. Engagement in significant business disturbance incidents contributes to the depth of understanding.
- Vendor Management:Being the contract owner and managing supplier relationships follow up on service levels root cause analysis and supplier performance to safeguard business operational stability and ensure that suppliers deliver to the agreed contract framework.
- Service Roadmap: Develop and execute the roadmap for the Service to reach business and service goals and objectives with continuous improvements and cost efficiency.
- Budget control: Developing and owning the budget and forecast delivering within given guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Automotive Security team Infrastructure Platform Service owners Information Security team and Infrastructure Architects. With the user community and key stakeholders to get input and develop the service
- Technical knowledge: Provide a good level of understanding of Infrastructure services like Hosting Cloud and Network in general with solid security awareness as key. A primary focus is on Secure access (remote/private/Internet) Firewalls and Certificate processes in a Zero Trust designed world.
- Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with the Security team to ensure that Your services are secure and compliant protecting the organization from potential threats.
In summary you will manage the Service and oversee the progression of this area. This is a practical role focused on delivering results and ensuring progress for the Service. While you will guide and coordinate work across teams the position does not include direct personnel management or team development responsibilities.
You will enjoy working here if you have
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science Information Technology Cybersecurity or Network Engineering
- Experience in Infrastructure such as Cloud and Network with a security focus. Preferred in a global outsourced environment. Some of the tools in scope are Zscaler Aviatrix AlgoSec Palo Alto Sectigo.
- Effective communication stakeholder management and leadership skills with an ability to balance technical nuances with non-technical language.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly changing fast-paced environment.
- Enjoying work in a true global environment including dialogue with many different nationalities and cultures.
- Structured coherent mindset and ensuring that agreed standards are followed supplier delivers according to contract and cost is under control.
