DescriptionAs a Electrician - Facilities Maintenance II here at Honeywell you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and operation of Honeywells facilities. You are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities related to facility maintenance repairs and operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations managing budgets and coordinating maintenance tasks. Your leadership and management skills will contribute to optimizing facility performance enhancing operational efficiency and creating a positive and productive workplace for employees.
In this role you will impact facility-related issues proactively and will contribute to the smooth functioning of our operations as well as enhance the overall business performance. You will help create a well-managed and optimized facility infrastructure that supports our business objectives and enhances the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on facility systems including lighting power distribution and control systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of facility projects and repairs.
- Install troubleshoot and maintain fire alarm systems including smoke detectors pull stations control panels and emergency lighting ensuring compliance with local fire codes and NFPA standards.
- Execute structured cabling and network infrastructure installations including running data cables terminating connections and testing network performance.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems codes and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems in a facility environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
