Job Summary

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an RN Med/Surg for a job in Utica NY.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and postoperative conditions.
Perform comprehensive assessments monitor vital signs and manage multiple patients on a busy Med/Surg unit.
Administer medications perform wound care and assist with mobility and daily patient needs.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized care plans.
Document assessments interventions and patient progress accurately in the EMR.
Educate patients and families on care plans discharge instructions and condition management.
Maintain safety and infection control standards throughout all patient interactions.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience (required).
Travel nursing experience required.
Active NY RN license (Nursys verification required).
Current AHA BLS certification (ACLS if required by facility).
Strong patient-care time-management and assessment skills.
