Manages other Managers Supervisors and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations. Defines strategy and direction for a comprehensive globally-structured multi-family supply chain delivery strategy aimed to ensure the companys current and potentially new customers have a solid end-to-end supply chain solution signed off on and implemented customized to their specific needs and requirements. Leads regular customer summit meetings to ensure all supply chain deliverables are being progressed to the customers satisfaction both in terms of quality of deliverables as well as stringent adherence to critical milestones and contractually agreed-upon goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages other Managers Supervisors and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.
  • Lead the design and development of Distribution business process standards executed against clear Deliver strategies.
  • Design Develop and deploy the Global Archetype roadmap inclusive of capabilities aligned to strategic priorities data and technology strategies analytics talent strategy and emerging digital technologies. The roadmap will include connection to the E2E segment and supply chain strategies.
  • Lead collaborative cross functional initiatives in partnership with GDEX Regional Deliver Excellence and Deliver Operations to identify scalable practices technologies and best practices for the Archetypes that drive value through improved Distribution efficiencies.
  • Define critical Distribution capabilities for each Archetype and define build-up relevant approaches; Ensure consistencies among markets in terms of process and ways of working
  • Lead the process of defining developing and implementing governance frameworks for the Distribution Archetypes.
  • Develop and implement the J&J Operational System (JJOS) and a set of Proven Practices and Processes across the Archetypes that define the way each Archetype will work in order to deliver sustainable customer value growth & profitability.
  • Identify and establish plans to address Deliver Distribution capability gaps to drive consistency in proven practices and standardized processes. Focus to improve business results through the evolution of Deliver Distribution in the Supply Chain Gartner maturity curve.
  • Advances Deliver Distribution Capabilities (people process technology) across the Archetypes and regions prioritizing and leading areas that will enable growth improve Customer Experience and drive E2E Supply Chain efficiencies.
  • Establishes and implements Deliver Distribution systems integration strategy to grow business initiatives using a multi-approach evaluation overseeing transformation projects milestones and deliverables and providing recommendation criteria for long-term Insource vs. Outsource decisions.
  • Defines and recommends optimal Deliver Distribution Archetype operational processes and procedures by portfolio including comprehensive continuity plans linked with the companys business strategy.
  • Leads identification and recommendation of strategic Distribution capacity expansions needed to support portfolio growth as well as new Commercial business opportunities.
  • Creates customer on-site optimization and network re-configuration scenarios to present to Deliver and Commercial stakeholders for customized key wins.
  • Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g. workflow performance and compliance) as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with key business leaders within and outside Deliver and drive actions to meet stakeholder needs via the execution of analytics capabilities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement processes by regularly developing testing and applying practical innovative Distribution solutions and methodologies to Deliver and E2E problems.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Deliver Distribution Archetype analytics capabilities which provide insights and allow the E2E organization to make informed business operational and financial decisions.
  • Assess operational maturity across each Archetype and define and execute continuous improvement priorities Lead Business Excellence opportunity implementations for the region and drive business excellence throughout distribution.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of a Bachelors degree and/or University degree required

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics functions.
  • Experience in Six Sigma and/or Lean methodologies
  • Experience in data analytics analysis / insights
  • Demonstration of strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead & get things done through influence versus line responsibility
  • Ability to communicate orally and written clearly and concisely across all levels of the company.
  • Demonstrates organized analytical approach to problem solving using proven methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership for results and to and challenge the norm

Preferred:

  • J&J Operating System (JJOS) experience
  • J&J MedTech Planning and Supply Chain Experience
  • Distribution experience
  • Green belt / Black Belt Certification
  • FPX training / certification
  • Proven experience in successful change management

Other:

  • May require up to 20% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites

The Company maintains highly competitive performance-based compensation current guidelines this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/ performance are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.
