Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for Clinical Nurses to join us in a mixture of full-time and part-time roles. Based at our Springfield campus these roles will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield opening early 2026. This state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With a mix of public and private beds across ICU maternity emergency and medical surgical services its set to care for over 200000 patients annually.

Salary range: $54.45 - $58.30 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!

What youll be doing

The Clinical Nurse performs all aspects of Nursing care with particular consideration to the physical emotional and spiritual needs of each patient/client in a safe effective and patient focussed manner. This clinical leadership role provides and supports the delivery of high-quality patient care where advanced clinical skills and knowledge underpin care coordination collaboration and communication within the Nursing and interdisciplinary team for excellence in patient outcomes. The CN provides operational leadership when delegated by the NUM.

About you

You will have a minimum of 3 years full time experience in the relevant area as Clinical Nurse:

  • Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
  • Considerable demonstrated experience the area in which you are applying for
  • High level skills in problem-solving communication coordination and time management
  • The ability to contribute effectively and efficiently within a busy multidisciplinary team environment
  • While not essential applicants who currently have or are studying towards a tertiary qualification within the relevant clinical speciality would be highly regarded
  • Hold or be in the process of obtaining postgraduate qualification in relevant speciality is highly regarded
