Job Summary
Summary
Independently carries out a broad range of technically advanced research activities and procedures related to cancer drug policy; conceives of and designs experiments evaluates conclusions and has complete latitude to modify or devise methods and techniques as necessary to achieve desired results related to cancer drug policy; may supervise technical and administrative elements of research unit related to cancer drug policy.
Essential Functions
Function as a skilled scientific specialist for the research unit or for a specific research project related to cancer drug policy.
Conducts broad range of experiments or computational analyses involving advanced technology/strategies related to cancer drug policy; conceives of the objective of research studies and designs experimental protocols/computational analyses to achieve the objectives related to cancer drug policy; generates analyzes and evaluates experimental data; interprets the results of experiments/computational analyses related to cancer drug policy.
Writes and edits material for publication related to cancer drug policy; may present papers or appear as principal or secondary author in publications related to cancer drug policy.
Provides direct supervision to technical and support personnel as assigned related to cancer drug policy.
Provides instruction in laboratory or computational techniques and methodology to students and postdoctoral fellows related to cancer drug policy.
Performs other duties as assigned related to cancer drug policy
