The Finance Project Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis forecasting and budgeting support to the Project. They will analyze financial data prepare reports and provide insights to improve the project overall performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the controlling and financial reporting of projects in accordance with internal control rules
- Ensure project accounting is in accordance with Company guidelines
- Ensure consistency with project teams (Planning Sourcing Work Package owners)
-Ensure reconciliation takes place between approved project financial data and books
- Provide finance advice and tutoring to the project team
- Checks the accuracy of the data accounted for on the project
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support budgeting and planning processes
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management
- Analyze financial data and identify trends risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information
- Develop and maintain financial models and tools for forecasting and budgeting purposes
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Monitor and track financial performance against budgets and forecasts
- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and cost efficiency
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by the Finance project Manager
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field
- 3 years of experience in financial analysis budgeting or similar roles. Project companies will be an advance
- Strong knowledge of financial principles forecasting techniques and budgeting processes
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools including advanced Excel skills
- Experience with financial planning systems and software
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and attention-to-detail abilities
- Ability to work independently meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
