Position Title: RN Med/Surg
Location: Brooklyn NY (11206)
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day Shift 7:30 AM8:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $45$50/hr ($1875 weekly)

Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RN Med/Surgfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.

• Administer medications IV therapies wound care and treatments per facility protocols.

• Develop and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.

• Collaborate with physicians case managers and the interdisciplinary care team.

• Accurately document assessments interventions and patient responses in the EMR.

• Educate patients and families on care plans medications and follow-up needs.

• Respond appropriately to emergencies using sound clinical judgment.

• Maintain compliance with infection control medication safety and hospital standards.

• Support new and float staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Active New York RN license.

• BLS (AHA required); ACLS preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg experience.

• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.

• Proficient with EMR systems and standard nursing documentation.

• Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.
