Department Overview

Proudly serving as Minnesotas childrens hospital since 1924 Childrens Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota is the eighth-largest pediatric health care organization in the U.S. Each year Childrens provides care through nearly 13000 inpatient visits and more than 200000 emergency room and other outpatient visits. An independent not-for-profit health care provider Childrens has 319 staffed hospital beds and services available in all major pediatric specialties: emergency care; newborn and pediatric intensive care; outpatient and inpatient surgery; diagnostic services including radiology and laboratory; and special programs in the areas of respiratory cardiology cancer premature birth adolescent development child abuse and addition to our Minneapolis and St. Paul Campuses Childrens also includes Childrens West a pediatric care center in Minnetonka offering same-day surgery as well as diagnostic rehabilitative and developmental outpatient services; Childrens - Roseville an outpatient pediatric rehabilitation center; and Childrens Clinics - Woodwinds pediatric specialty clinics at the Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury.



Position Summary

Responsible for the evaluation and provision of physical therapy services to children; the accompanying written documentation and verbal communication needed to administer care including provider orders; provides patient/family/caregivers staff and student training; provide a safe clean environment; provides proper care for departmental equipment; manages time effectively and promotes patient/family provider and intradepartmental satisfaction. All of the positions duties are performed within Childrens MN Standards of Behavior.

This outpatient position is primarily based in Lakeville with the expectation of working one day per week in Woodbury.
