Job Summary
Job Title: RN Intermediate Care
Location: Utica NY
Type: Contract
Pay Rate From: $60/hr
Area: Intermediate Care / IMCU / PCU
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an RN Intermediate Care for a job in Utica NY.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to patients requiring intermediate/step-down level monitoring.
Perform frequent assessments monitor cardiac rhythms and manage complex patient conditions.
Administer medications titrate drips as allowed by unit protocols and respond to changes in patient status.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
Follow all safety infection control and regulatory guidelines.
Support patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience (required).
Travel nursing experience required.
Current AHA certifications: BLS ACLS and NIHSS.
Active NY State RN license (Nursys verification required).
All RN licenses must be active and in good standing.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
