About The Opportunity

TOPTAL CARE Inc is seeking a certified Sterile Processing Technician (Coordinator) for a travel contract in Modesto CA. This night-shift leadership role is ideal for technicians with at least 2 years of experience who are ready to coordinate sterile processing operations in a high-demand hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily production and workflow in the central sterile processing department
Decontaminate assemble sterilize and distribute surgical instruments and trays
Ensure adherence to infection control safety and compliance standards
Perform quality checks and meticulous record-keeping of sterilization procedures
Train and mentor team members while maintaining high operational standards
Communicate effectively with surgical nursing and support teams to meet all instrument and supply needs

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CERTIFIED Sterile Processing Technician
Active certifications: BLS and CRCST or CSPDT
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and as a team coordinator during overnight shifts
Solid understanding of safety regulatory and quality assurance protocols
