Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with strong SQL expertise to design develop and optimize business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into interactive dashboards visual reports and meaningful insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain Power BI dashboards reports and data models
Write and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and ETL scripts
Connect data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency
Implement calculated measures DAX queries and KPI indicators
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
Improve data visualization standards and ensure performance optimization
Manage data refresh scheduling access controls and workspace management
Troubleshoot BI issues and ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions
Develop documentation for dashboards data models and processes

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Power BI (Power Query Data Modelling DAX)
Advanced SQL experience (joins subqueries functions performance tuning)
Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
Familiarity with data connectors (Azure SQL Server Excel APIs etc.)
Good understanding of data visualization best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and stakeholder interaction

Preferred Skills

Experience with Azure Data Factory SSIS SSRS or Synapse
Knowledge of Python or R for analytics (optional)
Exposure to Agile methodologies

Education

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
