Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst cum Project Manager to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis project management and stakeholder management. This hybrid role is critical in driving business outcomes gathering and analyzing requirements and overseeing project execution.
Key Responsibilities-
Business Analysis:
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements functional specifications and technical requirements.
- Analyze and interpret business needs to identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend effective solutions. Facilitate workshops interviews and brainstorming sessions to elicit requirements and clarify project scope.
- Create detailed documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs) user stories process flows and wireframes.
- Liaise with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments to evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Project Management:
- Plan execute and oversee projects from initiation to completion ensuring adherence to scope budget and timeline.
- Develop and maintain project plans schedules and resource allocation plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers QA and business stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to overcome challenges.
- Organize and lead project meetings status updates and retrospectives.
- Ensure proper documentation and communication of project artifacts including charters status reports and lessons learned.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by providing timely updates and resolving conflicts effectively. Present project updates requirements and deliverables to senior management and clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst Project Manager or in a related role.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering solutions successfully.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in project management tools like JIRA MS Project Trello or Asana.
- Hands-on experience with documentation tools such as Confluence Visio or LucidChart. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall Agile Scrum) and best practices.
- Strong understanding of data analysis reporting tools and business process modeling.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Leadership skills to manage teams drive accountability and motivate team members.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
