We are looking for a Field Service Apprentice to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role will report to Field Service Regional Manager and will be based in the West Jordan Utah.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Learn to become a primary driver for maintaining Bloom Energy servers ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Learn and perform fuel cell system maintenance site upkeep safety protocols and issue resolution.
• Demonstrate proficiency in working independently and collaboratively within a dynamic fast-paced setting.
• We will train you to gain a comprehensive understanding of diverse electrical and mechanical systems enabling effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Skills and Experience:

• Enrolled in an apprenticeship program
• We are looking for someone with strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude. Our training program will help you understand fuel cell mechanical systems piping plumbing and valve operation
• This job will expose you to 3phase systems UPS (back-up power) systems electrical and mechanical maintenance electrical generation and distribution systems power electronics Automatic Transfer Switch Systems and microprocessor-based control platforms.
• Experience with various test and measurement equipment electrical codes and personnel safety products and procedures is preferred.
• You will learn about monitoring systems in operation
• Basic understanding of requirements of working safely
• Understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques and skills
• Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Demonstrates sound judgment
• A team player who exhibits a high level of integrity and professionalism in all situations
• Able to communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal form to facilitate duties as required
• Able to follow procedures and execute sequenced work instructions from either written and/or verbal communications
• Able to facilitate shift work as needed
• Able to travel as needed for training

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift 45-50lbs
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
