Location/Division
The position is located on-site in Richardson Texas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Communicates company goals safety practices and production deadlines to the team.
- Motivates team members through recognition and development.
- Assesses team performance weekly and provides feedback if necessary.
- Works with management on continuous improvement including projects etc.
- Communicates with management regularly including status updates blocking issues etc.
- Supports the team responsible for manufacturing repair and supply of spare parts to the service organization/field.
- Manages training plans throughout manufacturing.
- Reports directly to the manufacturing manager.
How will you get here
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors degree is preferred.
Experience:
- 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- 2 years of people management experience.
- Experience practicing lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent digital literacy especially Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook SharePoint etc.).
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Regular reliable and predictable attendance vital for adequate scheduling and coverage.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
- Work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.
- Interpersonal skillsthe ability to work well in a team as well as leading and inspiring others.
- Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills.
- Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in data analysis.
