Role Purpose:
The Lead Cash Equities Product Owner guides the global Cash Equity product strategy leading a team to deliver technology solutions that align with business objectives and client needs. This role focuses on enhancing technology delivery to boost client and trading revenues reduce operational risk and improve regulatory compliance. A deep understanding of the Cash Equities business and product management is essential.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Product Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy ensuring alignment with business goals deliver roadmap for execution.
- Collaboration:
- Work with global Equity stakeholders to develop and execute product strategies. Clearly communicate priorities and manage expectations.
- Work with Securities Financing to understand and prioritize flow coming from customers.
- Work with the downstream areas (operations settlement finance compliance etc.) to ensure requirements are met.
- Market Understanding: Analyze market trends and client feedback to improve product offerings. Plan for the future not the present.
- Technology Partnership: Ensure technology priorities align with business goals and drive process improvements.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Global Head of Cash Equities to define projects that advance the business.
- Team Management: Lead a team of product owners and analysts fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Budget Management: Assist in setting the annual budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure strong governance and alignment with risk management and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Own the Cash Equities product manage stakeholder expectations and drive delivery by working closely with technology teams.
To be successfull in this role you should meet the following:
- Extensive experience in Product Management within Cash Equities.
- Proven experience in having designed led and delivered major change initiatives for a multi-year global programme.
- Deep Cash Equities product expertise is essential.
- Successful history of working closely with technology and other key front-to-back stakeholders and driving change in a collaborative manner.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in building and sustaining a wide network of global stakeholders in a large matrix organisation.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of market trends.
- Proven track record of effectively resolving issues and conflicts to ensure timely delivery.
- Knowledge of client expectations and competitive insights.
