ETL Informatica Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Informatica Developer to design build and optimize data integration workflows for enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter (or IICS) SQL and data warehousing concepts with the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver reliable and scalable ETL solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain Informatica ETL workflows mappings sessions and reusable components.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust ETL design specifications.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance scalability and fault tolerance.
• Develop complex data transformations cleansing logic and data validation routines.
• Work closely with data architects analysts and application teams to integrate data across multiple systems.
• Perform unit testing system testing and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot ETL job failures identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
• Create/modify stored procedures views and complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Ensure ETL processes adhere to data governance data quality and security standards.
• Maintain ETL job schedules and participate in on-call production support.
• Contribute to documentation including mapping specifications technical design documents and deployment guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering IT or related field.
• 4-8 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter (or IICS).
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL or SQL (Oracle SQL Server Teradata or similar).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema fact/dimension tables).
• Experience with ETL performance tuning pushdown optimization and query optimization.
• Experience working with large data sets and complex transformation logic.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
• Hands-on knowledge of job scheduling tools (Autosys Control-M UC4).
• Strong debugging analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based integration tools (Informatica IICS AWS Glue Azure Data Factory).
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Hive Spark EMR).
• Exposure to API integrations and real-time data processing.
• Experience with Git CI/CD DevOps pipelines for ETL deployments.
• Experience with data quality tools (Informatica IDQ).
