Job Title: AR Coordinator
Department: Accounting
Reports To: Accounting Manager
Location: Onsite Everett MA
Job Type: Part-Time Hourly Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/hour; based on experience
Objective: The Accounts Receivable (AR) Coordinator is responsible collecting and posting payments by various means while assisting in other daily office functions and assisting where needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
â Post payments to accounts
â Prepare and make daily check deposit via check scanner and software
â Daily reconciliation of Sales Rep iPad payments and ATM deposits
â Resolve inquiries with customers
â Identify and address credit issues with Sales Representatives
â Provide weekly and monthly reporting to management and sales department
â Manage credit terms and finance charges for accounts ensuring state compliance
â Collections of various supplier and intercompany accounts
â Other AR duties as assigned
Qualifications
â High School diploma or equivalent required Associates Degree or certification in Accounting preferred.
â Prior experience in accounts receivable or related accounting role a plus.
â Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
â High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
â Excellent phone etiquette communication and customer service skills.
