Already partway through your apprenticeship and looking for a fresh opportunity to grow your skills At Hutcheon & Pearce were on the lookout for 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Technician who is ready to take the next step in their career. Youll join a supportive team of experienced technicians working hands-on with John Deere machinery while continuing your TAFE studies. Whether youre building on your foundation or ready to tackle more advanced diagnostics well help you level up.

What Youll Be Doing

Carrying out basic repairs servicing and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment
Learning how to remove disassemble and recondition components
Supporting senior technicians and learning from the best in the business
Participating in TAFE and tailored training programs including the EDUCATE Core Curriculum
Following safety procedures and completing job-related reports and documentation
Performing pre-delivery inspections and setups on new equipment

What Youll Bring

A genuine interest in agricultural machinery and mechanical systems
Basic knowledge of engines hydraulics transmissions and electrical systems
Willingness to learn diagnostic tools like John Deeres Service Advisor
Good communication and teamwork skills
A current drivers licence and forklift licence (preferred)
Attention to detail a strong work ethic and a drive to become a qualified Diagnostic Technician
