About the Role

Were expanding our systems team at NUS Enterprise to build the backbone of our intelligent operations. As an AI & Systems Engineer youll design and scale the systems that power our AI agents and data-driven workflows from API integration to cloud architecture and data lake management.

Were building our Enterprise Intelligence Hub and creating AI agents that automate the boring stuff so our teams can focus on building what really matters.

Youll work closely with our AI and automation teams to connect platforms manage real-time data flows and build resilient infrastructure that enables smarter decision-making across NUS Enterprise.

What Youll Do

• Design and build APIs and connectors to integrate internal and external systems.
• Develop and maintain a data lake architecture that consolidates data across platforms for analytics reporting and AI training.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Support the development of AI agents that automate workflows and leverage enterprise data.
• Build scalable backend services and pipelines to support intelligent automation.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance for reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data AI and operations teams to identify new automation and integration opportunities.

What Youll Bring

• 35 years of experience in systems engineering backend development or data integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with APIs (REST/GraphQL) and cloud architecture.
• Solid understanding of data management ETL pipelines and cloud data storage (Azure Data Lake AWS S3 or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD tools containerization (Docker) and version control (Git).
• Problem-solver mindset you enjoy building debugging and scaling complex systems.
• A strong learning mindset youre eager to explore new tools adapt quickly and grow with evolving technologies.
• Passion for automation AI systems and emerging technologies.
