Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager working out of the Winnipeg Manitoba office.


The successful candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering team where they will provide engineering support for manufacturing build processes. (Composite Layup and/or Assembly).


Selected candidate must be able to work on the Day shift.

Position Responsibilities:

Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
Develops implements and maintains various manufacturing plans Bill of Materials work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.
Provides producibility input to design manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
Coordinates and implements new engineering principles theories advanced technologies and concepts.
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues of significant impact to performance cost or schedule.
Drafts updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Winnipeg Location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

2 years of experience in a related engineering or manufacturing environment
Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in a relevant field of Engineering upon hire
Be eligible to be registered as an Engineer in Training (E.I.T) with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM)
Must be able to support day shift on occasion.
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

Experience in Production Planning
Composite/Aerospace manufacturing knowledge

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
