Our client a prominent AmLaw 200 firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their Commercial Finance & Investment practice in Hartford. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven mid to senior-level associate to join a team representing institutional lenders investors and property owners in complex transactions across the United States.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Connecticut in good standing
• 4-7 years of substantive transactional experience incommercial real estate financeandinvestment
• Experience drafting loan joint venture and LLC-related documents
• Prior non-legal experience in finance investment or real estate industries is a plus
• Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Highly motivated and driven with a strong commitment to exceptional client service

Key Responsibilities

• Represent institutional lenders investors and owners in commercial real estate financeandinvestment transactionsacross the US
• Structure and negotiate transactional documents related to sophisticated commercial real estate deals
• Draft and review loan joint venture and operating agreements
• Work closely with partners and clients to execute complex deals across various asset classes and jurisdictions
• Provide practical business-oriented legal counsel to sophisticated clients

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $170000-$190000 as determined by experience and market factors
